Lisa is the Program Coordinator for YouthActionNet, where she plays an integral role with web outreach, retreat planning, fellow management, and other aspects of program facilitation. Lisa joined the IYF team in 2011 as the Grants and Contracts Coordinator where she was responsible for producing legal agreements, tracking the completion of grant requirements, and maintaining grant statistics for the entire organization. She has a liberal arts degree from Washington College with a major in anthropology and a minor in creative writing. She enjoys learning about culture and her global awareness was enhanced by time spent studying abroad and volunteering in Tanzanian schools and local Tanzanian non-profits. Her past experience also includes work as a writing consultant, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technician, and a marketing intern with the Maryland Department of Transportation. Lisa is also an avid writer and in 2011 won the nation’s largest literary award, the prestigious Sophie Kerr writing award. .
