“Brilliant.” “Intense.” “A once in a lifetime opportunity.” These are just a few of the reflections shared by Laureate Global Fellows in describing their experience. Supported by the Sylvan/Laureate Foundation and offered each year through the International Youth Foundation’s YouthActionNet® program, the Fellowship provides 20 extraordinary young social entrepreneurs with a robust, yearlong learning and networking experience.Past recipients have pioneered solutions to urgent societal challenges—mobilizing thousands of volunteers to improve patient care in Peru, empowering women through self-defense training in Jordan, and leading national campaigns to prevent suicide among men in Australia.

A signature IYF program, YouthActionNet seeks to create the world’s largest network of young social entrepreneurs collectively achieving the greatest global impact. Through the Laureate Fellowship and 18 youth leadership institutes around the globe, YouthActionNet comprises more than 900 young change-makers in over 80 countries.

The Fellowship is open to founders/CEOs of social ventures, ages 18 to 29. Applicants must be proficient in English and have founded or co-founded projects or organizations with at least one year of demonstrated social impact. This can include leading a new project within an existing organization.
