New Website Shares Resources and News About Youth UnemploymentRead All Posts
Do you have questions about the best solutions to tackle youth unemployment? Do you want to find out more about what others are doing to build a better future for youth? Need to locate the next conference where practitioners are gathering to discuss this topic? The Global Partnership for Youth Employment (GPYE) website seeks to answer these and other questions to keep partners and supporters engaged by providing up-to-date information and resources around this important issue.
The new website, launched today by International Youth Foundation (IYF) will allow easy access to upcoming events, resources and news about the GPYE alliance, which was formed in 2008 as a collaboration between IYF, the World Bank Development Grant Facility, the Youth Employment Network, the Arab Urban Development Institute and the Understanding Children’s Work Project. Through research, policy dialogue and local engagement, these organizations are working together to explore how best to help youth in North Africa and the Middle East to make a successful transition into adulthood by finding gainful employment.
Through the website, viewers have full access to GPYE’s research, including the upcoming Monitoring & Evaluation Guide, which will identify best practices for implementing youth livelihood interventions, depending upon the needs and opportunities of the region.
The Spotlight feature offers a look into how GPYE is moving forward with its goals—such as the recent formation of the Youth for Work: Tripoli Alliance (YWT).
